silly question - extended ascii
making a new character tomorrow to play with my friend (whom i got addicted to the game, heh heh), and i want to use a character or two with an accent on it in my character name. how would one go about doing this? i've never messed around with the windows character map or extended ascii in any games at all really. does it work like in a text editor, i.e. alt-<ascii code>?
i'd try right now, but my gaming computer is a few miles away. thanks for any help! |

I know those codes don't work in the chatbar. Maybe try copy/paste?
I remember one of the criteria for names is using all-English characters, so I don't know how successful you'll be. |

Only ASCII-I characters are allowed in characters names. No accents or any other funky characters.
